When Will Your IGNOU ID Card be Issued After Admission?
Once your documents are verified and the admission fee is paid, your IGNOU ID card will be issued within 1 to 2 weeks. However, if there are delays in the verification process, it may take longer.
After your ID card is issued, download it from the SAMARTH-IGNOU portal. Print a copy of the ID card and visit your nearest IGNOU regional centre to get it stamped for verification. Once the verification is complete, your admission will be fully confirmed.
What Documents Do I Need to Get My IGNOU ID Card?
To download your ID card, you will need your username (which is your enrollment number), password (shared at the time of admission), and your date of birth. When logging in, enter your enrollment number and password.ย
After logging in, you can download the ID card in PDF format. Once downloaded, the PDF will be password-protected. The password is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. For example, if your date of birth is 10th December 2000, your password will be 10122000.

Why is My IGNOU ID Card Not Showing
